Founded in 2009 by Murray Kidd, the Boston Singers' Relief Fund is a new program of BSR which provides financial relief in a confidential, respectful manner to those in the singing community who have contributed significantly to the artistic life of New England and are facing job loss, illness or other catastrophic life events.

Mission Statement:
The Boston Singers’ Relief Fund provides financial relief in a confidential, respectful manner to those in the singing community who have significantly contributed to the artistic life of New England and are facing job loss, illness, catastrophic acts of nature, or other events such as vandalism or theft, and who have insufficient resources with which to handle such situations. The BSRF recognizes the essential value of singers to society and culture and treats all applicants with dignity, discretion, and compassion.
