Boston Singers Resource - Joseph Stroup

Joseph Stroup is a graduate of the Oberlin College School of Music in Ohio with a degree in Organ Performance. He has been the organist at the First Church in Wenham, MA, since 1986. As a pianist, he has performed with various musical and theatrical organizations including the Boston University Chorale, the Salem State College Chorus, the Mishawum Choral Society, the Hillyer Festival Orchestra, ARTSalem and the LynnArts Council. He has appeared for the passed three seasons at the New England Light Opera‚s Summer Concert Series and with Mass Theatrica in their premier season. In addition to teaching privately, he is on the faculty of the Performing Arts Department at the Landmark School in Prides Crossing and is a Board Member and contributing editor to the Boston Singers Resource website.
