Blake Siskavich is an active performer in both regional/professional theater and choral ensemble singing. Some of his favorite roles include, Mary Sunshine, Chicago, (GLMT, Lowell, MA: NCP, Newton, MA), Sky Masterson, Guys and Dolls, (Cornell Savoyards, Ithaca, NY: Muller Chapel Theater Group, Ithaca, NY), Joseph Hewes, 1776, (Lyric Stage, Boston), Ariel, The Menopausal Mermaid, (Bitterbitch Productions) and the premiere of Tide Taken Productions Musical Things That Matter (Newburyport, MA). He currently sings with the New World Chorale. He was a 15-year member of the Tanglewood Festival Chorus, singing with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Boston Pops. He has also previously been a member of the NYS Baroque Ensemble (Syracuse, NY), Cayuga Vocal Ensemble (Ithaca, NY) and a featured soloist with the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra. He has been a music and early childhood educator since 2000. He teaches elementary music, middle school musical theater and is music curriculum lead teacher in Lincoln, MA. He serves on the BSO Educators Advisory Council and is a contributing author to Activate Magazine, a national education resource magazine for music lessons and activities. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Vocal Performance from Ithaca College (Ithaca, NY), a Masters of Education in Early Childhood from American International College (Springfield, MA), and a Masters of Education in Organizational Management from Endicott College (Beverly, MA).
