Sing This Summer offers exceptional week-long programs for singers of all ages. Our programs provide a carefully balanced mix of musical, social, and recreational experiences, where participants explore the full range of their musical abilities in a fun and welcoming environment. Daily classes include musical theater, choir, individual and group voice lessons, musicianship, movement and collegiate-style a cappella. Recreational activities are interspersed throughout the day for a balance of intensive music and fun. We offer three packages: a day option, day & evening option or overnight option.

The Treble Chorus of New England, founded in 1975, has a long history of championing performances of classical and fine contemporary literature for children's voices. The Treble Chorus provides exceptional choral training to youth, and serves to educate and develop a love and understanding for classical music. Ages 6-18 by audition. Children and youth after school and Saturday classes as well as full-scale productions.

For singers in grades 2 and up.
We perform three full length operas during the school year and three in the summer as 'special summer opera workshops' where the singers make the sets and props, too.

In addition to private voice lessons, group singing classes for kids, and the annual Peter Elvins Vocal Competition during the academic year, Powers offers Pow-Wow, a summer day program with music, singing, and theatre instruction for ages 5-15.

Boston Children's Chorus (BCC) is passionate about performing art that allows young people to reflect critically on their society and become agents of change. BCC serves nearly 300 singers, ages 7-18, in 10 different choirs from all over the Greater Boston area. Anyone who wants to sing with us has a spot in one of our choirs which rehearse weekly at locations across the city, allowing singers to hone musical skills & forge lasting friendships. Tuition costs are scaled to family income to keep our programs affordable to all.

Auditioned city-wide Concert Chorus open to singers in grades 6-12, Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Dorchester, Boston City Singers’ mission is to provide the highest level of musical training and wide ranging performance opportunities to young people ages 4-18, inspire personal development, celebrate diversity and foster good will​.​ Our vision is to transform the lives of inner city young people one voice at a time, inspiring and developing each heart to live with compassion in a world of differences.​ As a nonprofit organization, we serve nearly​ 500 children ages 4-18 in 15 programs throughout metro-Boston.

Founded in 2018, Continuo, (formerly known as Greater Boston Music Outreach) offers young musicians the opportunities and mentorship to share their music with new audiences and explore the powerful intersection of classical music and community leadership. Continuo is entirely student-run, forming a musical community of students from all over Massachusetts—including local high schools, New England Conservatory, Harvard, Northeastern, and Boston University.

Four auditioned choirs for ages 8-18 which includes Singers (ages 8-11), Youth Chorus (ages 10-14), Young Men’s Chorus (changing to changed voices grs. 7-12), Young Women’s Chorus (grs. 9-12.) Music theory classes and tickets to H&H Symphony concerts included free of charge. Classes/rehearsals at Boston Latin School (ample parking, easy T-access), regular performances at Cutler Majestic Theatre and Symphony Hall. VAP High School Soloists (20 scholarships, financial need based) offer private vocal instruction and masterclasses at N.E. Conservatory.

Lyric Stage’s current Community Programs include theatre education initiatives primarily for students in grades 6-12. These programs emphasize relationship-building and the creative process, and provide opportunities for students to develop their artistic skills by uniting them with professional theatre-makers from the Boston area.

The GRAMMY® Award-winning National Children's Chorus provides children ages 5 to 18 the opportunity to learn and grow in a choral ensemble with an exciting array of performances both locally and at celebrated venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and Walt Disney Concert Hall, presenting a diverse range of repertoire from well-known classics to world premieres. With a variety of introductory through advanced choir levels, there are opportunities for young singers of all ages and experiences. NCC’s Boston chapter holds In-person rehearsals held weekly on Sunday afternoons at Boston University School of Music from September through May.

Year round ensemble, class, and privates study programs. Summer school includes institutes and weekend intensives on topics including yoga, piano pedagogy, Kodaly, African and Indian rhythm, programs for young performers and continuing education/college courses.

Brookline Music School offers private lessons, classes and ensembles for all ages and abilities. Classes for ages 6 mos and up. The faculty is comprised of world-class musicians and educators, and all musical styles are included (from Baroque to Jazz to Rock). Tuition assistance is available.

A variety of childrens offerings including theatrical arts programs for children, ages 7-13.

VOICES Boston is internationally acclaimed and empowers children to engage with audiences in profound ways. The VOICES Boston choral experience cultivates leadership, generosity, collaborative work and a lifelong love of music and music-making. VOICES Boston serves 130 children, ages 5-14, from the Greater Boston area, regardless of financial circumstances.

Boy Choir, Catholic school for children grades 5-8

Offers a teen choir, musical theater, Balkan family choir, workshops and year round private voice lessons for ages 11 and up, and instrument lessons & group class for ages four and up. The New School of Music has an outstanding faculty to guide students in their musical endeavors in classical, jazz, contemporary and world music styles. Tuition assistance is available.

The mission of this group is to provide children and adults the opportunity to perform a world or U.S. premiere of a work written or adapted for family audiences and performers. Cast and crews are comprised of children and adults, with participation by multiple family members encouraged.

Jamaica Plain Children's Chorus offers quality music education and choral singing oppotunities to children ages 6 - 12. All programs are non-auditioned and open to any interested children regardless of prior experience

Does your child love to sing? If so, come be a part of a new, inclusive, non-auditioned chorus for students! Children’s Community Chorus (CCC) is a wonderful opportunity for excited singers (entering Grades 4-5 for the 2023-2024 school year) to come together and share in the joy of making music together in song! Each week, singers will work together as a musical team to improve on their musicianship skills through reading choral music, listening, and of course, singing! Singers will participate in at least two scheduled concerts – one in January and one in May. Other unique performance opportunities may be added to our performance calendar throughout the year!

Methuen Young People's Theatre is open to all students in grades 4-12. Throughout each summer, the group rehearses a Gilbert and Sullivan operetta twice per week and performs in a fully staged, costumed and decorated production in September.

South Shore Children's Chorus offers non-auditioned classes and choirs for singers in grades K-12 in four locations: Quincy, Sharon, Hanover, and Bridgewater. SSCC provides need-based Tuition Assistance to all who apply.

The mission of the South Shore Children’s Chorus is to provide quality musical education and vocal training to students living in the South Shore communities and beyond. SSCC keeps the development and well-being of our students as our top priority, and aims to create a safe space and loving community for choristers to learn, to grow, and to find their own voice.

SSCC welcomes singers in grades K-12, and is passionate about offering the experience of learning to use their voice to any child, regardless of financial situation or prior experience.

At Rising Stars Productions, we are committed to fostering a love for the performing arts. We strive to create an environment where every child and learn and succeed. In our programs, students grow in both skills and confidence as they work toward a polished final performance, all while having a blast!

Our flagship program, Rising Stars Camp, is a one-week musical theater day camp for children ages 10-18. Students work in small class sizes with our professional staff as they sing, act, and dance their way through an exciting variety of Broadway numbers. The camp culminates in a performance that is open to the public. This summer (2019), we will run our program in three different locations: Gardner, MA (June 24-28); Beverly, MA (July 8-12), and North Reading, MA (July 22-26). Based on the North Shore, the Rising Stars Show Choir will be the premier ensemble of its kind, directed by choral and dance professionals and drawing talent from all over the the region. The Young Company offers year round classes in music theater and full-scale productions for children ages 8 - 18.

Classical youth choirs based at UU church are open to members of the greater community, grades 4-12. Rehearse Thursday afternoons; sing for church services once a month. Opportunity to have fun and make friends while exploring a musical repertoire that spans eight centuries and draws on various traditions around the world; sing in foreign languages; sight-singing and ear training provided. A summer music camp for children in grades 4-12. Since 1950 Camp Encore-Coda has welcomed spirited young musicians from all over the world who want to have fun playing & learning about music, plus enjoy some sports and good times with friends in a woodsy Maine summer camp environment. Revels auditions children ages 6-12 twice a year for our Children's chorus, always an important part of our annual productions, "The Christmas Revels" in Cambridge, and "Midsummer Revels" in Boston.

Choral ensemble that educates young people in musicianship and choral singing. Members come from over twenty communities in Greater Boston and include over fifty girls and boys in grades 3 through 12. An audition is required to participate.
