Collegium Ancora Presents: Collegium Cabaret: Seasons of Love
Providence, RI. Collegium Ancora will be presenting their 2nd annual “Collegium Cabaret” on Saturday, 09/21/19, at 6pm (wine and hors d’oeuvres included). The performance is given in the Pavilion at Grace on Westminster St. This year the theme is “Seasons of Love.”
Collegium Ancora bills itself as “a professional chamber choir for the Ocean State”. This cabaret serves to announce our fourth season and provides a chance for our chamber choir singers to showcase their solo voices.
Proceeds from the evening support the ensemble’s expanding programming. Since its debut in 2016, Collegium Ancora has already collaborated with groups as diverse as the Providence Children’s Museum, RI Pride, Newport Film Festival, Community Preparatory Academy, PVDFest/FirstWorks, and the Newport Music Festival. Details for the 2019-2020 season will be unveiled at the cabaret.
More information will soon be available on the group’s website (collegiumancora.org), but attendees at the cabaret will be the first to know, and will have the opportunity to purchase season subscriptions at reduced cost. Cabaret tickets ($40 each, $25 for back bench, $280 for table of 8) are available online only, and are expected to sell out.
About Collegium Ancora:
Dedicated to enriching the Ocean State through the choral arts, Collegium Ancora performs music from ancient times and modern, sacred and secular, in celebration of the human voice. It aims to be "a professional chamber choir for the Ocean State". In addition to performing at venues statewide and around the region, this means cultivating innovative partnerships with other organizations, and sharing music as widely as possible.
