Fauré’s Cinq mélodies “de Venise” for soprano and piano

Company:
Chameleon Arts Ensemble of Boston

Chameleon Arts Ensemble presents a luminous chamber music program featuring five works of rhapsody and reverie, dreams and magic. Gabriel Fauré’s Cinq mélodies “de Venise” for soprano and piano animates moonlit scenes by the great French poet Paul Verlaine while Andrea Clearfield explores the mysterious and wild place where dreams become manifest. Helen Grime unmasks the moondrunk clown, and Mendelssohn works his magic with a glorious chamber concerto of elegant, sparkling brilliance.
