Queens and Orphans in Love and Defiance

Company:
Renegade Music & Concerts

A classical music concert that explores the delusions of royalty (or those who think they are royal) as they fall in and out of love.

Coloratura soprano Letitia Stevens brings us a program of arias and ensembles by Mozart, Händel, Donizetti, Puccini, Verdi and more. The concert will include special guest appearances from tenors George Lyons and Ryan Fitzgerald and the program includes an exciting trio from Halévy's rarely heard grand opera "La Juive" as well as duets from Meyerbeer's "Les Huguenots" and Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor. The singers will be accompanied by pianist Leonardo Ciampa.

The concert will be sung in German, Italian, French and English.
