In their 12th season Guerilla Opera brings Marti Epstein's Rumpelstiltskin, the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale, back to life in a family-friendly performance featuring vivid shadow puppetry by Iranian theater artist Deniz Khateri with stage direction by Nathan Troup!
This new production will be presented in a free dress rehearsal on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 4PM and a full performance on one night only on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 7:30PM.
Preceding the show on March 15 at 6:30PM Guerilla Opera presents a tactile tour of the production for patrons who are blind or with visual disability. An audience talk-back will directly follow the performance. These events are included with with the purchase of tickets to the Friday, March 15th performance.
All performances are at First Church Boston Auditorium, 66 Marlborough Street, Boston, MA. Rumpelstiltskin runs approximately 75 minutes and is sung in English.
