War and Peace

Please join the Wellesley Choral Society for our fall concert, War and Peace, on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019 at 4 pm, at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Wellesley Hills, 309 Washington St., Wellesley, MA. The chorus, joined by a professional orchestra and soloists Mary Sullivan, Jennifer Webb, Adrian Jones, and Michael Meraw will perform Haydn’s Mass in Time of War, selections from Vaughan Williams’s Dona Nobis Pacem, Barber’s Agnus Dei, and Whalen’s Crossing the Bar. In addition, a preconcert prelude featuring popular songs of wartime will start at 3:30. Immediately following the concert, the audience is invited to a free reception. There is ample free parking in the church lot and the sanctuary is handicapped accessible. Tickets: $20 Adults; $15 Seniors & Students; Children 12 & Under Free.
