We Bid You Wassail: A Winter Solstice Concert

Wasseyl! This beloved annual tradition (our seventeenth!) features seasonal music of 16th, 17th and 20th-century Britain, Europe, and the New World. This year’s program includes festive wassails, wintery consort lessons, Scottish tunes for lute and harp, familiar carols, “crooked” Quebecois reels, and songs about Christmas ale. Jollity guaranteed, audience participation encouraged, and a festive holiday reception to follow.
