Kendra Comstock

Kendra Comstock is a soprano and teacher located in Somerville, MA. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Voice from Oklahoma City University, and is currently finishing a Master of Music degree in Historical Performance at the Longy School of Music. Kendra has experience teaching and performing Early Music, Classical, Musical Theater, and Contemporary repertoire. She uses her knowledge of vocal pedagogy to help students develop healthy technique, while exploring a variety of musical styles. Kendra believes her students should understand practical aspects of music, while also exploring their own interpretation of a piece. She believes that music lessons are a means to build social skills, fine and gross motor skills, work ethic, confidence, and a greater appreciation of the arts. As a result her students learn to appreciate what they uniquely have to offer and have gone on to successful universities and music programs. Kendra is a proud member of The National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) and Early Music America.
