Ellington Sacred Concert

Duke Ellington called his Sacred Concert “the most important thing I’ve ever done” when it premiered in 1965 at San Francisco’s Grace Cathedral.

Music Worcester proudly presents this incredible work in a live performance at Worcester's historic Mechanics Hall on Friday, April 28 featuring The Worcester Chorus, The Clark University Choir, White Heat Swing Orchestra, and soprano soloist Janinah Burnett.
