Guerilla Opera
Join the Guerillas for a first look at new works to premiere in their 15th season, featuring "I Give You My Home: Rose Standish Nichols" with music and libretto by Beth Wiemann, "ELLIS" with music by Gabriele Vanoni and libretto by Ewa Chrusciel, and "SALT" an experimental opera film with music by Bahar Royaee and written and directed Deniz Khateri!
This theatrical concert features performances by soprano and Artistic Director, Aliana de la Guardia and percussionist, Mike Williams, and the cinematic work of Laine Rettmer, Nuozhou Wang, Cara Consilvio, Maxx Finn and more!
The new works on this program are supported by a Grants for Arts Projects award from the National Endowment for the Arts, an award from the Haverhill Cultural Council, a local agency, a Project Grant awards from the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency, and with special thanks to Michael and Sharon Mollerus, Revolutionary Spaces, The Nichols House Museum, The Gloucester Stage, Puppet Showplace Theater, theatre KAPOW, and Ovation Theater Company.
