Martin Luther King Concert and Elijah Cummings Tribute

The Cantilena Chamber Choir will present its annual Martin Luther King weekend concert. We are pleased to announce the return of the Baltimore Urban Choral Arts Society. Dr. King will be remembered in a combined choir performance of Robert Ray’s Gospel Mass and the choral music of composer Adolphus Hailstork. Members of the Baltimore Choir, several of whom were very well acquainted with the life and work of Rep. Cummings, will give a special tribute through personal testimonies.

The winner of the Berkshire Eagle’s Martin Luther King essay contest will be present to read the winning entry!
