A Night of Drama and Divas: La Divina

Join Opera del West on April 28th at The Center for Arts in Natick for a comic one-act opera as well as songs about singing, singers, and music. Pasatieri's La Divina is about an aging diva preparing for her final performance, with the help of her exasperated Manager, Personal Assistant, and Conductor. These roles will be sung by Julia Pottinger and Lucas Hickman from La Clemenza, Christine Sinacola from many OdW shows including The Marriage of Figaro, and OdW newcomer Juan Suarez. Thomas Pasatieri is one of our favorite living composers, having written The Seagull and Signor Deluso. Stage Directed by Alyssa Weathersby and Music Directed by Eve Budnick.
