Prophecy

In a program inspired by the book, "Dvořák’s Prophecy" and the composer’s interest in the indigenous musical traditions of the United States, the music of Dvořák and Brahms will stand beside the work of American composers Amy Beach, Harry Burleigh, Aaron Copland, Nathaniel Dett, Charles Ives, and George Walker among others.
