The Range of Light
Company: The Metropolitan Chorale
The Metropolitan Chorale presents The Range of Light, featuring the world premiere of "Yosemite: Impressions of Light and Shadow", a choral work by Ēriks Ešenvalds.
In honor of music director Lisa Graham's 20th year with the Metropolitan Chorale, we present a commissioned work by Ēriks Ešenvalds celebrating Lisa's childhood home: Yosemite National Park. Ešenvalds composed some of our favorite pieces performed in prior concerts (including Passion and Ressurection in 2013 and Stars in 2022) and we are thrilled to be the first to present this work to the world.
The program will also include Naturaleza by Francisco J. Núñez, The Peace of Wild Things and Come to the Woods by Jake Runestad, Until It's Gone by The Swingles, and Sunrise by Ben Parry.
Tickets are available online at https://metropolitanchorale.org/tickets and https://www.purplepass.com/mcesenvalds.
