Practice performing in a friendly, low-stakes environment! Whether you're looking for more experience singing in front of people, a chance to try out a piece with a pianist, an opportunity to become familiar with more vocal repertoire, or a fun way to connect with the local singing community, this is the place for you. Singers of all ages and levels are welcome and encouraged to sign up. We can't wait to make some music together, no matter where you are in your singing journey!
The BSR No Stress Studio will be held on a monthly basis. You will have approximately 10 minutes to sing whatever repertoire you choose, although we will typically expect to be working mostly in classical and classical-adjacent genres, whether it be opera, operetta, oratorio, art song, musical theatre, etc.
We're so excited for our second No Stress Studio of the year! It will take place on Sunday, March 19 from 5:00-6:30pm at Boston Lyric Opera's 'Fort Point Lyric Room':

There is street parking and also several lots nearby. It is about a ten minute walk from the Broadway Red Line stop.
Please click the button below and fill out the form below to reserve your spot! The fee to participate is $10 for BSR Members and $25 for non-members. You can also sign-up for free to support your friends from the audience! A pianist will be provided at no additional cost, but you are welcome to bring your own. Don't forget to bring a binder of your music for the pianist. You do not need to dress formally, but of course you can if you wish!
